OPHIRA ODEM

Ophira Odem is a self taught folk-surrealist artist and poet. Born and raised in Huntsville Alabama. Her passion for the arts was sparked in early childhood, with her creative pieces being displayed in local art shows as early as age seven.

In present day, Ophira is inspired by indigenous cultures, feminine power, and both religious and sacrilegious topics. Her pieces use a plethora of bold colors and heavy symbolism to portray imaginative scenes, giving the public a sample of what the world looks like from her unique perspective.
